A dedicated adopter from Egerton Living Lab, embarked on a transformative journey at the Living Lab – the INCiTiS-FOOD training session where important and key skills were built in order to upscale the circular food technology.,

Important guests at the University of Ibadan Living Lab

Important guests visited the Living Lab at the University of Ibadan; namely, on December 20th, 2023, the University Administrative officers attended an Internal Coordination and Reporting Meeting. They were hosted at the Living Lab where they could see all the ongoing processes and progress already made.

Celebrating a milestone at the Njala University Living Lab with the first harvest of gorgeous green peppers soon to be. These vegetables are high in demand for salads, jollof rice, and more. The journey from seed to plate from the LL is a prime example of community-led sustainable solutions.

Exciting updates from the Bamenda University of Science and Technology (BUST) LL site! The construction of the BUST Standard Training System is in full swing. Currently, the LL is testing the grow beds with water to ensure leak-free functionality. Additionally, the outdoor aquaponics setup, featuring a tarpaulin fish tank, is all set to supply nutrients to crops in the NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system.

The team in Sierra Leone Living Lab has successfully harvested pupa and pre-pupa for their insect unit. Excitingly, the Njala University Living Lab now has a set of containers filled with pre-pupa available for sale to interested farmers in Sierra Leone.
