About
The INCITIS-FOOD Knowledge Hub acts as a public portal and forum that will host all the experiences and insights created within the project, sorted and adapted to different stake- holders’ needs, tailored to their backgrounds and goals. All the content available here will thus summarise key INCITIS-FOOD concepts and results in an easy-to-understand manner in order to effectively translate knowledge and increase acceptability of new information.

Key Objectives

At the heart of the INCITIS-FOOD Knowledge Hub are three key objectives:

Knowledge
Diffusion

We aim to share valuable insights, best practices, and success
stories from our Living Labs

Learning
Library

Our Library allows relevant project
content to be publicly available and easy-to-understand.

Stakeholder
Accessibility

By making new knowledge and insights easily available we aim to promote community engagement and interconnectivity of actors.

Mission and Aim
Drive positive change in the agricultural landscape of Africa and inspire EU-AU collaboration. We are committed to advancing circular farming practices, enhancing food security, and promoting enterpreneurship.

Why Knowledge Diffusion Matters

Knowledge diffusion is essential for enhancing sustainable practices. Sharing experiences, research findings, and innovative solutions empowers stakeholders to make informed decisions, adopt best practices, and contribute to the development of resilient farming systems. This way not only are individuals adopting new and better ways of doing business but communities as well.

Project Overview

INCiTiS-FOOD is a 4-year project that aims to improve food and nutrition security (FNS) in African city regions and reduce the food-system-related environmental footprint while contributing to circularity by co-create circular agri-food technologies, practices, and business models for an inclusive food system in African cities and towns. The project aims to empower communities by opening up opportunities for them in agri-food supply and value chains, and by achieving environmental justice through transformative food policies achieved through interdisciplinary research, integrated best-fit technologies, stakeholder led action, capacity-building, research-practitioner-policy collaborative engagement, and Europe-Africa partnership.
