In the realm of aquaponics systems, the sump plays a crucial role as it resides below the grow beds. Acting as the central point of drainage for the grow beds, it regulates the water flow within the system. This dynamic mechanism ensures that water cycles through the grow beds and the sump tank, maintaining a steady water level in the fish tank without disruption.
