Unlocking the Potential of the SmartAgriHub Synergy Portal: Tools, Practices, and Community Dialogues

INCiTiS-FOOD partner, Wageningen University & Research, in collaboration with Schuttelaar & Partners (S&P), is organising a focused digital workshop for the INCiTiS-FOOD Open Call winners. The session will introduce key updates on the SmartAgriHub Synergy Portal, including the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) for Digital Innovation Hubs and the launch of a series of moderated e-discussions. The workshop aims to enhance digital capacity among Living Lab (LL) stakeholders, promote peer learning, and strengthen local innovation ecosystems by encouraging engagement with innovation actors already onboarded onto the Synergy Portal.

Workshop objectives

The workshop is designed to support Open Call winners in strengthening their digital engagement within the SmartAgriHub ecosystem. Key objectives of the session include:

  • Demonstrate the new features of the Synergy Portal, including how to access and populate national landing pages and upload practice abstracts.
  • Present the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) for Competence Centres to support self-evaluation and strategic development.
  • Introduce the structure, themes, and facilitation process for upcoming e-discussions, including guidance on technical requirements, including accessing the Discourse platform.
  • Encourage Living Lab teams to extend the invitation to local innovation actors and ecosystem members.

Workshop details

The workshop will take place on Friday, 12 June 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 CEST / 11:30 to 12:30 EAT / 09:30 to 10:30 WAT. The session is designed for INCiTiS-FOOD consortium members, Living Lab managers, Synergy Portal profile owners, innovation actors engaged in Living Lab digital ecosystems, and Open Call winners.

Participants will gain practical insights into the effective use of SmartAgriHub digital tools, explore opportunities for collaboration and peer learning, and learn how to actively engage in upcoming e-discussions through the Synergy Portal.
