Jua Farm Umoja Youth Group and Rongai Teachers College are committed to the development of two interconnected Local Innovation Hubs focused on hydroponics and small-scale aquaponics as scalable, circular urban agri-food solutions. Our main objective is to create two operational hubs that train and certify unemployed youth (≥50% female, including persons with disabilities) in soilless production systems, serving as living laboratories for technology validation, curriculum development, and community replication of low-waste urban farming models.
