APM, founded in 2014, is a company that plans, builds, and monitors aquaponics systems
and modules. Since APM has been involved in different research projects, the company built
an own calculation and simulation platform for a large variety of different systems and
modules. Besides aquaponics, APM is also involved in further closed loop nutrient systems,
such as insect farming, vermiculture, microgreens, chicken, algae and zooplankton.
Role in the project:
APM provides calculations and conceptual bases for the planned aquaponic systems. This
includes training systems as well as systems in the living labs or at the participants places.
According to the requirements, APM helps with the procurement of the materials and with
the implementation of the systems. In addition, APM takes care of the support during the
commissioning and the maintenance of the running systems.
