FrontAg Nexus, PRIMA programme supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, and INCiTiS-FOOD, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, share a deep commitment to advancing agricultural technologies, fostering sustainability, and addressing the challenges that our global food systems face. InCiTiS-Food will shape African food systems and co-create circular agri-food technologies, practices, and business models centering upon soilless crop farming, recirculating aquaculture systems, and insect farming. FrontAg Nexus project aims to help shape the food production in the Mediterranean region, by incorporating climate-smart and water-saving technologies, such as hydroponics, aquaponics, recirculating aquaculture, vermiculture, and insect farming for feed and fertiliser.
