Synergy Days is fast approaching, and INCiTIS-FOOD is thrilled to be a part of this dynamic event. On October 4th and 5th, we’ll be taking center stage, demonstrating our latest advancements in circular sustainable agriculture and food security in Africa. Here’s what you can expect from our presence at Thessaloniki, Greece.
Sharing Booth With Cutting-edge Project FrontAg Nexus >
InCiTiS-Food will share booth with FrontAg Nexus. Our experts will be on hand to answer your questions, share insights, and discuss the incredible work we’re doing in Europe and Africa at our booth. Learn how our projects leverage cutting-edge technologies and innovative approaches to transform European and African food systems. Through InCiTiS-Food project we will co-create circular agri-food technologies, practices, and business models centering upon soilless crop farming, recirculating aquaculture systems, and insect farming. These circular agri-food technologies have been considered suitable for the context of African cities because they do not require great access to land, water, or other resources allowing Africa to thrive. Furthermore, FrontAg Nexus project aims to help shape the food production in the Mediterranean region, by incorporating climate-smart and water-saving technologies, such as hydroponics, aquaponics, recirculating aquaculture, vermiculture, and insect farming for feed and fertiliser.
Interactive Workshop: Communication for Partnership
In today’s interconnected world, effective science communication is key to bridging geographical, cultural, and institutional gaps between regions so join us for an engaging workshop titled “Communication for Partnership: Empowering European and African Scientists for Collaborative Success.”. This workshop is designed to enhance science communication skills, equipping participants with the tools and techniques needed to communicate scientific concepts and research findings effectively.
At INCiTiS-FOOD, we believe that addressing global challenges like resource use and sustainable agriculture requires teamwork, knowledge exchange, and effective communication.
